40 Prado Homeless Services Center

This is a 365 days per year facility that helps individuals and families improve their health and stability and move them towards self-sufficiency. Programs in this center include:

  • Recupitve Care for individuals who would otherqise be discharged to the streets
  • Counseling and recovery services for individuals experiencing homelessness and co-occurring mental health and substance abuse challenges
  • Safe Parking program that offers individuals living in their cars a safe place to park overnight as well as access showers, meals, mental and physical health services, and housing case management

Adult Day Center

The Adult Day Center focuses on providing respite to family caregivers and a quality, social model day care program for adults with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other cognitive impairments.

Liberty Tattoo Removal

This program provides no-cost laser tattoo removal services for individuals with gang-related, anti-social, and/or socially and economically limiting tattoos in exchange for community service.

Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF)

SSVF in collaboration with community partners, is committed to providing services to eligible Veterans and their families. Additionally, Veterans may be eligible for a subsidy for Adult Day Care through the Veteran’s Administration.

The Center for Health and Prevention

The Center provides free to low-cost family planning services and reproductive/sexual health services to men, women, teens, and undocumented individuals. Menopausal Services are also offered. We accept CenCal.

Utility and Water Assistance

 A one- time assistance program designed to help households that are facing the threat of imminent disconnection, have already been disconnected or have past due (arrearage) on Utility (gas, propane, or electric), Water or Wastewater bills.
