The Family & Community Support Services Division aims to help families with children access the resources, education, and support needed to raise happy, healthy children and increase their family’s self-sufficiency.
Programs include:
Family Preservation and Support
The SAFE services team provides supports to all individuals including birth, adoptive, and resource families, kin-care providers, transitional aged youth, special needs youth and adults, and the zero to five population.
Father Involvement
POPS empowers dads with the skills and confidence they need to be effective, positive fathers and co-parents.
Financial Empowerment
This program aims to help families reduce their stress, improve their financial skills, and empower them to successfully maintain their personal finances.
Help Me Grow
SLO County Help Me Grow supports families by offering free developmental screenings and connection to resources and services around SLO county.
Martha’s Place
A Family Advocate at Martha’s Place, an early intervention and assessment center serving San Luis Obispo Count
S.A.F.E. Family Resource Centers
