CAPSLO Child and Family Services (CFS) provides early learning and child care programs for children, birth to age 5 in 63 centers and 160 Family Child Care homes across ten counties in southern and central California. Additionally, the division provides child care subsidy services to an average of 900 families with 1,500 children annually in SLO County.

The mission of the CFS Division is to provide children and families who are income eligible in our service area with a comprehensive program to meet their emotional, social, health, and nutritional needs.

Staff members offer children and families love, acceptance, understanding, and the opportunity to learn and to experience success.

Through community participation, staff development, and family involvement, our goal is to assist in providing opportunities now and for future generations.
