Services are focused on families at risk of child abuse and neglect with the goal of keeping children safe, healthy, and at home.

Father Involvement Program

POPS stands for Positive Opportunities for Parenting Success! This evidence-based program empowers dads with the skills and confidence they need to be effective, positive fathers and co-parents.

Financial Empowerment Program

The goals of this program are to help families reduce their stress, improve their financial skills, and empower them to successfully maintain their personal finances.

Head Start and  Early Head Start

Head Start and Early Head Start programs provides high quality, no-cost child care, early childhood education, and preschool services to low-income families in San Luis Obispo and Northern San Diego Counties serving families with children from the birth through age five, with some additional services for pregnant women. 

Migrant and Seasonal Head Start

This program provides high quality, no-cost child care and preschool services to low-income families whose primary income is from agricultural production or harvesting.

The program serves families with children from the birth through age five, with some additional services for pregnant  woman. 

Toy Lending Library

Our library loans toys, resources, equipment and materials to enrich children’s experiences and afford them unique and varied opportunities for learning. Toy Library patrons can borrow 6 items for 1 month at a time.
