Afternoon of Epicurean Delights

**
Thank you for being part of the CAPSLO Health and Prevention community.

Because we care about your safety and wellbeing and the health of our community we decided to cancel an Afternoon of Epicurean Delights for this year. If you have already purchased a ticket we will contact you regarding a refund or converting it to a donation.

We believe that with your help, we can lessen the impact of coronavirus on our mission to encourage personal health and empowerment through access, advocacy and education.

Although an Afternoon of Epicurean Delights has been  is cancelled, we are continuing to pursue our goal of raising $50,000. This year, will be the 1st Annual Afternoon of Alternative Delights Raffle Fundraiser.

As you know, funds raised by this event support CAPSLO Health & Prevention programs, which have provided health and education services for low-income, underserved and vulnerable individuals throughout San Luis Obispo County since 1972.  All raffle proceeds go to support direct services, including preventive health screening for seniors and vulnerable adults, sexual health and wellness education in the schools, free laser removal of anti-social and gang related tattoos, and comprehensive reproductive health care.

CAPSLO is a private non-profit 501(c)3, Federal Tax ID #95-2410253, and your donation is tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law.

Again, thank you very much for your support and best of luck in the Afternoon of Alternative Delights Raffle!

$50,000 to provide direct services to our vulnerable, at risk program participants. Please send donations to CAPSLO Health and Prevention, 705 Grand Ave., San Luis Obispo, CA. 93401.

Pierre-Joseph Redouté was a French-Belgian painter and botanist during the 1700s. He was widely known for his botanical engravings and was often referred to as “the Raphael of flowers.” He is most noted as Marie Antoinette’s personal artist and produced more than 2,100 engravings during his lifetime.

These two botanical giclée prints are of Redouté’s original engravings. Both prints are 11×14 inches and are framed, ready to be hung.  The images have been digitally remastered and printed on high-quality, archival paper that has a canvas texture. The prints have a natural, off-white background, which offers a more authentic, aged aesthetic. The details of this print include Redouté’s hand-written text, including the scientific name of the flower and his signature.
